American actor Thomas William Selleck. His first role was Thomas Magnum (private investigator) in the television series Magnum. (1980-1988), for whom the actor was nominated five times for the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead actor in an Drama Series. He was awarded the award in 1985. From 2010 to the year 2010, Selleck was the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In nine television movies that are based on the Robert B.
