Adele

Adkins was brought up by a single young mother in different working-class areas of London. She was an avid singer of popular music of the present as a young girl and was capable of playing the clarinet and guitar. She was introduced to Etta an early-mid-century rhythm-and- blues vocalist, in her teens and began to consider a career as an artist. When she was at a secondary school for performing arts, which was funded by the government and a friend began posting songs Adkins wrote on Myspace. After graduating Adkins' music attracted the attention of record label. She signed a contract in the year 2006 with XL Recordings.
