Some of her film credits include The 636 (for which she was awarded Best Actress at the 2014 NYLA International Film Festival), Shattered! Never Die Alone, American Adobo, as well as American Adobo. Cum Laude awarded Keesha a B.F.A. Keesha started her professional career in the stage world after she graduated from the Cum Laude Conservatory with a B.F.A. She played in an upcoming Broadway National Tour of Carousel and made her debut Off Broadway on stage in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Additionally, she played eight roles in the humorous Eat the Runt. Keesha also appeared in Abyssinia and Aida as well as Thunder Knockin' as well as Jitney.
